English Camp 2010!

UPDATE!

WE'RE HOME!!

Ok, so it's been a couple days, but we are all still adjusting to the time on this side of the world. I know the team looks forward to sharing with you what God is doing in Thailand, but the following is a link to a sample of our week!

Sorry we could not update like we wanted to. We weren't able to get the internet connection we were hoping for. Thanks so much for your continued prayers as we "recover." It was a blast to serve God and these amazing students that God has forever put in our lives!

Minneapolis, Minnesota

We have arrived in Minneapolis! Most of us ate at McDonald's so we're doing well on collecting our Monopoly pieces. We have an extended layover here as we prepare for the major leg of our journey to Thailand. Tokyo, Japan -- here we come!

And We're Off!

Just made it through security at Albany International Airport. All 15! We're getting ready to board. So keep praying for us! We will keep you posted.

Do You Want to Partner With Us?

Okay, it is 11:30 and I am sitting on my couch thinking about the list of things I still need to pack. Some of my team members are sleeping, some are doing the same as me. While I was looking at my list of last minute things to pack like toothpaste and toothbrushes, and of course my Ipod, I was reminded of the one thing that is more important than deodorant, shoes, or food, PRAYER!

As we meet at the church at 3:15am, and travel to Albany to catch our plane we will need prayer. While we are on the plane next to many people who we don't know we will need prayer to be the witnesses to those people we encounter. When we arrive and the jet lag sets in we will need prayer for endurance and strength. When we are teaching/talking in our English class with the Thai students we will need prayer for wisdom. We will then need prayer for when we travel back on the plane and in the vans.

Now this is how you are very important, WE NEED YOU TO PRAY! We need your prayers, we covet your prayers. You may be thinking I could never go across the seas, but you can pray!

1 John 5:14-15

14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

THANK YOU FOR PARTNERING WITH US WHILE WE ARE IN THAILAND!!
